Window Replacement Done Right
Old windows are usually the single biggest source of heat loss in a Minnesota home. New double- or triple-pane windows with low-E coatings cut drafts, reduce condensation, lower heating bills, and make rooms quieter. We install high-quality replacement windows for homeowners across Southeast Minnesota and have been doing it since 1987.
The biggest mistake we see in window jobs is rushed installation — windows shimmed unevenly, foam sealed sloppy, flashing skipped, or trim that doesn't tie back into the existing siding. We take the time to do it right: square the rough opening, set the window plumb and level, foam-seal the perimeter, properly flash the head, and finish trim that looks original to the home.
Window Services We Offer

What to Look For in a Window
For Minnesota, you want at least double-pane glass with a low-E coating and argon gas fill. Triple-pane is worth considering on north-facing walls or homes near busy roads. Look at the U-factor (lower is better) and the SHGC (solar heat gain coefficient — lower for west-facing walls in summer, higher for south-facing for passive heat in winter). We'll walk you through these tradeoffs.
