A Home Builder Who Knows This Valley
Building in Winona means working with the land — bluff-side lots with serious elevation, river-valley soil that varies street to street, and a limited supply of buildable ground that makes every lot decision count. We've built more than 150 homes in this corner of Minnesota since 1987, from walkout ranches tucked into the bluffs to two-stories in the newer plats west of town.
A custom home is a six-to-nine-month relationship with your builder, so it matters who picks up the phone. With us, that's Josh or Justin Rasmussen — the same two people who walk your lot, review your plans, frame your walls, and do your final walkthrough. No project managers rotating off your job, no phone tree.
We build to a standard, not a deadline-driven minimum: engineered trusses sized for real snow loads, properly detailed housewrap and flashing, energy-code-plus insulation, and mechanical systems planned for Minnesota's swings from -20°F to 95°F humidity. It's the difference between a house that's new and a house that's built to last — and it's why homes we built in the 1990s still send us referrals.
