Add Space, Keep the Charm
Sometimes you love your home and your neighborhood — you just need more space. A well-designed addition is almost always a smarter investment than buying a new house, and it can be the moment your home goes from "good enough" to exactly right. We have been building additions across Southeast Minnesota for over 39 years, and our work has one consistent goal: when we're done, the addition should feel like it was always part of your home.
That's harder than it sounds. It means matching rooflines, ridge heights, siding lap dimensions, window sightlines, trim profiles, and floor heights so the new section ties seamlessly into the original. We sweat those details so the finished home has no "before and after" line.
Types of Additions We Build
- Room additions — primary suites, family rooms, mudrooms, home offices
- Kitchen additions and bump-outs for bigger, brighter cooking spaces
- Second-story additions on existing slab or one-story homes
- Garage additions — attached, detached, or second-story-over-garage
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms for outdoor-feel comfort year-round
- In-law suites and accessory units for multi-generational living
What's Included in an Addition
Every addition we build covers the full scope under one contractor: site prep, footings and foundation, framing and roofing, electrical and HVAC, plumbing, insulation, drywall, trim, paint, flooring, and the exterior finish package (siding, soffit, fascia, gutters). We pull all permits and coordinate inspections so you're not chasing paperwork.
